About Stokesdale Smokers

Stokesdale Smokers is a BBQ contest crew that participates in Shrine and Masonic BBQ contests. We use a custom made gas smoker that can cook a 170 pound whole pig or anything smaller.

We will participate in the Red Fez Family Fun day the 14th and 15th of June at the Red Fez Shrine Club in Charlotte North Carolina where two years ago we placed 3rd in chopped BBQ and in October we will participate at the Home Coming at the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford North Carolina where last year we placed 2nd in Chicken and 3rd in Ribs.  This year at the 2013 Red Fez Family Fun Day we won two more awards. We placed 2nd in Pulled Pork and 3rd in Anything Butt (Entries are anything but pork, chicken and ribs) This year we won with individual Pineapple Upside Down Cake. No matter whether we place or not a good time is had by all and the camaraderie with our brother Masons and Shriners is always great.
